| My grandson wanted this toy and I looked all over to find it...with no success. It was great to go to Amazon.com, find it and have it shipped to my grandson in another city. It was a win-win shopping experience. |
Finally! The human version!

Well, it is hard not to like this little guy. Finally, there is a human version of Ben's rival and bad boy teen sociopath, Kevin...or as his "bad guy" name goes, Kevin 11. If you're a Kevin fan like me, you pretty much have to get this to go along with the larger, DNA Alien Heroes Mutant version of him. If you're not a fan you still might want him because Ben fights him in the cartoon. Thus, he's someone for your Alien Collection Ben figure to fight who's not an alien. Either way, it is hard to go wrong with him.
The sculpting is pretty good for a little figure like this and it IS obviously Kevin, Bandai has done a good job with these figures. Pay no attention to the paint job on the Pyronite parts in the preview section...the color job has been fixed and those staring eyes aren't in the final version. So, he matches the show version.
He's pretty durable...I've had him for over a month and droppe dhim, jammed him into bags, pockets, and purses, and he still looks great and hasn't lost an arm or leg.
The only thing I'm not crazy about are how some of the extra Pyronite pieces...I have trouble getting the arm and random fiery piece to stay on very long. The face cover snaps on very easily, though. ^_^
He comes with a cool lenticular card an alien viewer, both of which feature his mutated form. The card is particularl gruesome...so it gets coolness points from me.
Pick him up if you can find him at Target, Wal-mart, or any other vendor..but don't pay too much for him. I couldn't find him when he first came out, so I bought him online for only a few extra dollars than he was at the store (plus shippng...but hey, it saved me gas money driving around looking for it XD). These figures have fluctuating prices, so buy smart! And Buy Kevin...because even sociopaths need fan love ^.~ |
